9.2.7 VIEWING THE POSITIVE BLAST CHILLING CYCLE

The DIS1 display shows the temperature of the
needle probe for the cycles with temperature or the
temperature of the cell probe for the cycles with
time.
►
The display DIS2 shows the time in decrease
for both the temperature cycles and the time
cycles.
The time used for the temperature cycles is given by the value of the parameter.
For temperature cycles the decrease of the time starts only if the temperature of the needle probe
is lower than the value.

► The CHILLING CYCLE LED
is on.
►
Press the DECREASE button
to view,
on DIS2, the elapsed time from the start of the
blast chilling phase.
During a temperature cycle you can view the
temperature of the cell probe by pressing the
BLAST CHILLING button
.
The visualisation remains on the displays for
five seconds.

During a cycle with time you can view the temperature of the needle probe by pressing the
NEEDLE PROBE button.

The visualisation remains on the displays for five seconds.
When the temperature of the needle probe reaches the value defined for a temperature cycle, or
the preset time expires for a time cycle, the blast chilling cycle ends, the buzzer sounds and the
storage phase begins.

The buzzer can be silenced by pressing the DECREASE button.

During the storage phase, pressing the DECREASE button
allows you to view the total
duration of the blast chilling cycle.

You can view the temperature of the needle probe by pressing the TEMPERATURE button
, display will remain on the displays for five seconds.
NOTE:
If the temperature of the needle probe reaches the setpoint within the specified time, the
display DIS2 will flash, however, the cycle will continue until the setpoint is reached.
