Setting the Analog Audio Event Duration
OUTPUT
The Duration menu items sets the duration of the analog audio event. If
the left or right channel is set to the
constant
tone type, this duration is
ignored for that channel and a pure tone will be produced indefinitely until
it is affected by another audio event with a higher priority (lower number).
The duration can be set anywhere from 0.1 seconds to 10.0 seconds.

Testing the Analog Audio Event
OUTPUT
The
Test event
menu item allows testing the audio event to hear what it
will sound like. This can be used during setup to verify that the tone
frequency, duration and volume are correct. Not valid for testing
constant
tone types.
Caution
: This menu item is a live control and will immediately test the
audio event when selected.

4.4.7. Configuring the AES and DARS Digital Audio Outputs
The AES Audio menu located in the OUTPUT root menu configures the AES and DARS digital audio
outputs. The phase of all wordclock outputs is also controlled in this menu.
4.4.7.1. Setting the AES, DARS, and Wordclock Locking Mode
OUTPUT
The AES/DARS/WC lck menu item is used to control how the AES, DARS,
and Wordclock outputs will be aligned with respect to the sync and video
outputs.
Select
PAL/integer
to align these outputs to PAL sync and video.
Select
NTSC/fractional
to align these outputs to NTSC sync and video. If the
input reference is NTSC video that contains a SMPTE ST 318 ten-field
reference, this mode will make use of it to align the digital audio.
