4.9. TEMPERATURE TAB
The 7825DSK2-LG(-HD)(-3G) has the ability to insert a logo that displays the current local
temperature. The
Temperature
setup window is used to configure parameters relating to these types
of logos.

4.9.1.
Setting the Temperature Format
This option is used to configure the format of the temperature as set by the
Set Temperature
menu
item. Using the Temperature Format menu, the user can select the following options from the drop
down menu:
Fahrenheit:
Select
Fahrenheit
if the temperature entered is in degrees Fahrenheit.
Celsius:
Select
Celsius
if the temperature entered is in degrees Celsius.
Note: This option is only used when the Temperature Source option is set to
“Manual.” When you create a temperature logo, you select the format as well. If, for
example, you have created a temperature logo that is formatted for Celsius and you
manually set the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, the 7825DSK2-LG(-HD)(-3G) will
automatically convert the value to degrees Celsius so that the correct value is
displayed in the logo.
4.9.2.
Setting the Temperature Source
This option is used to select the source of the temperature that will be displayed in temperature type
logos. The following items are available in the drop down menu:
Probe:
Select
Probe
to take the temperature from the optional temperature probe.
See section 2.9 for more information on using the temperature probe.
Manual:
Select
Manual
to manually set the temperature via the
Set Temperature
menu item.
METAR:
Select
METAR
to take the temperature from METAR data acquired via the Internet.
