3.16.2.6. Setting the Trap Addresses
There are three menu items that are used to set, remove and show the trap addresses. These menu
items allow the user to define the IP address of the trap listeners for when the asynchronous fault
messages are sent. After selecting the “Add Trap Address” or “Remove Trap Address” option, IP
addresses are entered one at a time.
UTILITY
The
Add Trap Address
menu item adds a SNMP trap server IP address to
the TRAP distribution list. This server will log any alarm event generated by
the router.

UTILITY
The
Show Trap Address
menu item displays all the entered SNMP trap
server IP addresses. Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to scroll through
the list.

address from the TRAP distribution list.
