Installation Instructions
Be careful to grip the bulb only on the upper or lower plastic housing. Avoid gripping the
bulb on the soft diffuser in the center at all times.
Step 1
– Disconnect electrical power to fixture and remove existing bulb.
Step 2
– Remove or wire past the installed ballast in the fixture.
Step 3
– Connect the two power leads from the source directly to corresponding leads
on the lamp socket. NOTE: The bulb screw housing of the socket shall be connected to
neutral wire (white or gray) of the power leads.
Step 4
– If the socket requires a mogul base (E39) bulb, screw the enclosed mogul
adapter (E39) into the existing screw housing of the socket before installing the bulb.
Step 5
– Thread the retrofit LED bulb into the screw housing of the socket, or the mogul
adapter (E39). Tighten only until snug in the socket. CAUTION: Applying excessive
torque can damage the retrofit LED bulb or fixture socket.
Step 6
– Apply the supplied adhesive label to the inside of the fixture where it will be
visible for future re-lamping.
Step 7
– Turn on electrical power to the fixture.
