7.1 Opening the PC

Caution
The electronic components contained in the PC may be damaged by ESD.
Therefore, please take preventative measures before opening the PC. Please see the
“ESD Guideline” for regulations related to operation of ESD-sensitive components.
Preparation Work
Disconnect the PC from the power source.
Steps to open the PC

As shown in the right picture,
loosen the four screws fixing
the rotating shaft cover on the
back of chassis.

As shown in the right picture,
loosen the four screws fixing
the rotating shaft cover at the
front of chassis, and remove
the rotating shaft cover in
upward direction.
