EAS Location
The EAS Location screen shows information delivered by the optional EAS Location descriptor. The descriptor
allows you to enable filters by state, and county so that only EAS messages relevant to those locations are displayed.
Please consult with the headend controller manufacture to understand how to configure and use the EAS Location
descriptor. Figure 43 shows an example of the EAS Location screen as presented on the DTA.

Troubleshooting
8.1
Hunt Mode
While in Hunt Mode, it is best to monitor the Tuner Status diagnostic screen. Monitoring this screen will indicate
what frequency the DTA is currently tuned to, the locking status, and presence of CAT PID. When locked, the
Tuner Status diagnostic screen will also indicate the CA specific information (system ID, EMM, and EMM provider
ID). Last, this diagnostic screen will indicate the presence of a PAT and what the network PID is the DTA is using.
