2.1
General Safety Instructions
To prevent electrical shock hazards or device damage, remove the power
cable of the device before:
•
installing or removing signal cables;
•
relocating the device.
In case of any damage on power supplies or power cabling, don’t try to
repair it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or EVS
Technical Support.
In some countries (e.g. Scandinavia, UK, Swiss, Spain, Ireland,…)
national safety regulations have to be considered. In those countries and
also in case of any doubts on local regulations use a qualified service
technician to ensure correct and safe power connections!
2.2
General Service Instructions
All Dyvi devices are shipped as preconfigured hardware components with
related software setups. Changes or modifications on these devices’
configuration not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void:
•
safe and reliable operation;
•
warranty.
Some elements of the Dyvi switchers are "Components Off The Shelf"
(COTS). The end user shall not modify the hardware or software
configuration of such elements. Only manufacturer service people or an
authorized trained service center may do so.
2.3
Dyvi Licensing & Legal Usage
All software delivered with Dyvi-devices is licensed only for that device on
which it has been installed by the manufacturer. Copying or moving
software or licenses between devices is strictly prohibited.
Without any notice, it is up to the manufacturer’s decision to introduce or
enhance license verification at Dyvi application at runtime and disable any
package or feature under unauthorized usage. Legal usage of Dyvi
software and Dyvi license is exclusively in the end user responsibility
