9.1
Introduction
There is a requirement within Dyvi to define the various types of Networks
we use as separate entities.
The Networks can be named as:
•
the ‘
Control Network
’ for Panel / GUI connectivity and third-party
device control;
•
the ‘
PM Network
’ which provides internal distribution of video and
control data across multiple Processing Modules.
9.2
Control Network
Split over two NICs LAN1 & LAN2 these ports provide connection to the
Dyvi Panel(s), GUI, and then third-party devices such as the XT and or
other servers and systems.
9.3
PM Network (High-speed network)
The Internal PM Network is dedicated for the Internal distribution of live
streams amongst all the Processing Modules connected together within
what we call a ‘Cluster’. This Cluster network could be spread across one
Building, Country, Nation or Planet and is served by the 2 x 100GigE
QSFP28 ports on the rear of each PM.
Each Processing Module provides a Web Server to configure how the
PM’s are configured to work together within the PM Network.
For more information on the Supervisor please see section 11.1 for more
information on the supervisor.
