Time profiles:
Figure 140 - Time profiles
In the "Time profiles" section, Office Mode time profiles ("automatic permanent opening"
for EVVA access components), as well as time profiles for authorisation profiles of persons
or identification media, are defined.
Furthermore, closing times are set for the automatic termination of a manual office mode
(manual permanent opening).
If an Office Mode time profile is not assigned to an EVVA access component, then only
authorised identification media are allowed.
If a time profile is not used in the creation of an identification medium, then there is no
access time restriction for this identification medium and thus it has continuous access.
Office mode:
"Office Mode" represents an
automatic
and
time-controlled
permanent release of EVVA
access components. Components with Office Mode makes possible an access within a de-
fined time period also without identification medium.
Example:
A business premises has opening times of from 08:00-16: 00.
The Office Mode would be 08:00 - 16:00.
Access from the front door to the business premises with this time profile, would be pos-
sible for all persons from 08:00 and until 16:00 also without an identification medium. The
EVVA access component automatically switches to "open" at 08:00 and to "close" again at
16:00.
Office Mode can be ended manually with an authorised identification medium.
Shop Mode:
The "Shop Mode" is an extension to Office Mode. Office Mode is not started automatically
at the defined time, but only after a one-time identification with an authorised identification
medium.
Example:
A shop has the Office Mode with the time window 08:00 to 16:00.
In addition
, the EVVA access component in the entrance door has "Shop Mode" activated.
If the employee is late, and not at or before 08:00 in the shop, then the front door remains
closed despite Office Mode. Only when the employee arrives at the store after 08:00 and
opens it with an authorised identification medium, will Office Mode be started. This pre-
vents Office Mode from automatically opening the door when no employee is present.
