Deactivate the "Certificate Propagation Service"
Deactivate the Certificate Propagation Service on Windows machines running the Periph-
ery Manager and/or the Installation Manager (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previ-
ous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-R2-and-
2012/dn579263(v%3dws.11)). Short instructions:
•
Press the Windows
key and the "R" key together
•
Enter the text
services.msc
and confirm with
Enter
•
In the new window in the
"Name"
column, locate the
"Certificate Distribution Ser-
vice"
entry and right-click on it
•
Now select
Properties
•
In the new dialog, select the entry
"Deactivated"
in the
"Start type"
line and con-
firm with OK
•
Close all windows and restart the computer

A CU with 2 wall readers
If you install a coding unit with 2 wall readers, the two access points are connected to
each other. This connection will endure even if the EVVA components are removed. After
the two EVVA components have been removed, the status "prepared for installation" for
CU2WL is reached again.
If you want to delete the two access points, then you must remove one of the two access
points "Delete EVVA component". Then the "-" button for deleting the installation location
becomes active; the deletion of further installation location can follow.

Disable identification media
If identification media is are disabled, it may take as long as 60 seconds before the cur-
rent delta blacklist is completely transferred to the identification media. If a medium is
updated upto 60 seconds after it has been disabled (on the encoding station or on the
online wall scanner), it is very likely that the most recent version will not be written to
the identification media.
