Uninstall the existing Xesar app on your Xesar tablet and install the new Xesar 3.0

The current access component firmware for Xesar 3.0 is transferred to components
with the Xesar tablet and the current Xesar app.

You can continue to use any available identification media. For this purpose, you
must update them at the coding station or an online wall reader.
•
Prior to importing a Xesar 2.2 system to a Xesar 3.0 system it is necessary to enable
the "C drive" for Docker.
•
A version 2.2 system can exclusively be imported to and operated in the same
time zone.
•
You can continue to use the available Admin Card of your Xesar 2.2 system.
•
You can continue to use unit-based KeyCredits.
It is not possible to continue to
use KeyCredits Unlimited for Xesar 3.0!
Use KeyCredit Xesar Lifetime for un-
limited use and pay only once!
•
Xesar Lifetime licence must only be redeemed after having updated to Xesar 3.0.
DO NOT redeem in Xesar 2.2 (i.e. not prior to exporting/importing to Xesar 3.0!)

Two wall readers with one control unit (CU):
If you use the "two wall readers
with one control unit" setup in your Xesar 2.2 system, these wall readers must be
removed from the system and set to construction mode
prior
to the upgrade to
Xesar 3.0. Once again reinstall the two wall readers into the system after having
upgraded to Xesar 3.0.
•
If a Xesar 2.2 system with a
"fire brigade" authorisation profile
is imported into
Xesar 3.0, it may happen that a further fire brigade authorisation profile is gener-
ated in 3.0. In this case, one fire brigade profile must be removed manually.
•
After having imported a Xesar 2.2 system to Xesar 3.0, EVVA components must
no longer be synchronised with the Xesar 2.2 system. After you have made a
successful import
you must consistently work with Xesar 3.0
from then on.
