All identification media types are programmed using the Xesar coding station
by placing the identification media on an operating coding station and follow-
ing the corresponding instructions in the software.
Please refer to the corresponding data sheet for additional specifications at
https://www.evva.com/uk-en/products/electroniclockingsystemsaccesscon-
trolsystems/xesar/
An identification medium can feature authorisations for a maximum of 96
door zones
(regardless of the number of access points associated with the
area) and additionally 32 access points.

Construction Card (construction site medium)
Figure 24: Construction Card (sample image)
The Construction card is a contactless RFID chip card, based on MIFARE DESFire EV1, which is able
to open Xesar access components in construction mode.
Manual Office Mode is also available in addition to conventional access component operation (see
section:). The Construction Card is ready for use immediately and it must not be programmed using
the Xesar coding station.
Construction mode is active as long as the Xesar access component has not
been assigned to a system. Upon delivery, each Xesar access component has
the construction mode status.
Please note that your system can be operated with any Construction
Card when it is in construction mode. Initialise your access
components as soon as possible! However, we recommend creating
authorisation profiles and associated zones as well as time profiles in the
management software first, to then simultaneously configure these as part
of the baptizm to guarantee efficient system commissioning.
