Label is a name f or the object using the specif ied configuration and may be any value that is unique
under that type
. As an example, Header, Source, Sink, & Trigger may
all
have "Channel1" as a label,
but "Channel1" may only be present
one
time under Header, and
one
time under Source, etc. Any
object in Ears that takes an object as a parameter expects to get the label of a def ined obejct, which
means any object declared may be used anywhere. For instance, a Trigger may be shared by multip le
channels, and any Source may be assigned any Channel. As much as possible is mutable in an Ears-
104.
Conf iguration parameters are unique to the particular object and def ine how it is constructed. The label
only ref ers to that constructed object. Each type given in Appendix A should lists its parameters and
their def ault values, i.e., what will be used if that parameter is not supplied.
IP addresses must be supplied as a string using standard octet notation, which means they must be
enclosed in quotation marks.
