Transmit Sa5 Enable
This READ/WRITE bit field specifies if the Sa5 bit-field (bit 4 within timeslot 0 of
non-FAS frames) will be involved in the transmission of Data Link Information.
0 = Setting this bit to ‘0’ will configure the Data Link Interface to not use the Sa5
bit-field for data link message transmission. Sa5 bit-field within each outbound
non-FAS frame will be set to 1 if Sa5 is inserted from the transmit serial input.

: Sa5 bit-field can be inserted from either the transmit serial input or register
depending on the Transmit SA Select Register (Register Address: 0xn130) setting
1 = Setting this bit to ‘1’ will configure the Data Link Interface to use the Sa5 bit-
field for data link message transmission.

: The data link interface only uses Sa5 bit field for transmission only if Data
Link source is from HDLC controller (DLSRC = b01 from Register 0xn109) and if
Sa 5 bit field is inserted from the transmit serial input (TxSa5SEL = 0 from Regis-
ter 0xn130).
