Local Loopback 2 auto enable
This READ/WRITE bit-field enables or disables local loopback
mode when the National bits (Sa5, Sa6) received from the transmit
backplane interface follows a specific pattern.
Local loopback is activated when the National Bits (Sa5, Sa 6) and
A bit (remote alarm bit) follows the following pattern from the trans-
mit serial input. (TxSER_n pin)
Sa5 = 00000000 occur for 8 consecutive times, and
Sa6 = 10101010 occur for 8 consecutive times, and
A = 11111111 occur for 8 consecutive times

Local Loopback release enable
This READ/WRITE bit-field releases the local loopback mode when
the National bits (Sa5, Sa6) received from the transmit backplane
interface follows a specific pattern.
Local loopback is released when the National Bits (Sa5, Sa 6) fol-

LOS/LFA 1 automatic transmission
This READ/WRITE bit-field enables the automatic Sa-bit transmis-
sion upon detecting Loss of Signal (LOS) or Loss of frame alignment
(LFA) condition.
Upon detecting Loss of Signal or Loss of Frame alignment condi-
tion, E1 framer will transmit the Sa5 bit as ‘1’, and Sa6 bit as ‘0’ pat-
tern.
See Table 69 for the transmit Sa5, Sa6, and A bit pattern upon
detecting LOS or LFA conditions.

LOS 1 automatic transmission
This READ/WRITE bit-field enables the auto Sa-bit transmission
upon detecting Loss of Signal (LOS) condition.
Upon detecting Loss of Signal condition, E1 framer will transmit the
Alarm bit (A bit) as ‘1’, Sa5 bit as ‘1’, and Sa6 bit as ‘1110’ pattern.

detecting LOS condition.
