Save Test
button opens a new page that allows you to save a snapshot
of test results into a result file. Refer
information.
Trace
allows you to select corresponding configurations showing the
following Trace control values:
Trace 1 (Live)
Trace 2
Trace 3
Drop-down lists of the following TDR values allow you to change their
respective parameters for live Trace 1. Modification of the on-screen
parameters will be applied to the live trace for the next cycle of
measurement. When Trace 2/3 is selected, these parameters are
disabled and the list-values are shown as read only.
Range
Gain
Pulse Width
VoP
allows you to change the velocity of propagation value for the
cable using the virtual keyboard. Or to change the value by 0.01,
use the on-screen up/down arrows or up/down arrow keys of the
keypad.
Note:
Changes to the
VoP
only apply during the test, for both factory and user
cables. Upon exiting the test, the original cable VoP value set in the
Cable
Book
remains unchanged.
Hold trace
graph control icon holds the current TDR on screen for
comparison to a new live trace. The held trace is not saved. Select
Save Trace
to store a trace in memory for later recall. The icon is only
enabled when at least one trace is configured as
