Note:
When no value is available, “--” is displayed.
Pair
: Indicates the pair number.
Pins
: Indicates the pair’s pin numbers and color of each wire
corresponding to the selected wiring standard (see page 173).
Wire Map Test Result
: Gives the wire map test result for each pair.
When the link is up: The wire map result for each pair is given as seen
by the FTB-860/880 NetBlazer Series to get a link up. This means that
the wire map result may not correspond to the type of cable tested
depending on the cable(s) used and/or the configuration of the cable
mode (MDI, MDIX, or autodetection) on both the FTB-860/880
NetBlazer Series and the far end equipment. For example, two crossed
pair cables end to end used between the FTB-860/880 NetBlazer Series
and a far end equipment may give a straight pair (MDI) wire map
result.
MDI
: Straight pair.
MDIX
: Crossed pair.
MDI (-)
: For 1Gbit/s, straight pair with swapped wires within pair.
