10 Installing the tube bracket

1. Place the tube bracket with its prism rail facing downwards on a solid surface.
2. Loosen the fixing screws of the tube bracket and open it.
3. Place the optical tube in the lower part of the tube bracket. The lower part of the focussing unit
must be parallel to the prism rail.
4. Fold the upper part of the tube bracket* over the optical tube.
5. Fold up the fixing screws and pull it over the hooks of the tube bracket.
6. Tighten the fixing screws by hand that optical tube is fitted in the tube bracket in a safe way and
can not slip.
(*depending on constructional limitations, not for 80mm models)
