Use
Fit the required cylinder as described
above. Tip the machine backwards so
the front wheels don’t touch the grass.
Start the machine by pressing the
safety button (2) down while pulling
the on/off handle (1) up towards the
handle (5).
Once the cylinder has reached maxi-
mum speed, lower the front of the
machine onto the lawn and push the ma-
chine slowly forwards. Move at an even pace and plan your route to avoid running
over the cord.
Cleaning and maintenance
Empty the collector after use or when it is half full at the latest. Remove any grass
deposits and dirt from under the machine. Wipe the machine with a damp cloth
and remove any dirt from the vent holes using a brush. Never spray water on the
machine.
Once the season is over, lubricate the blades, the springs, the joints between the
cylinders and the machine, as well as the spring on the ejector cover with a suitable
lubricant so that they do not rust. Wipe the metal parts of the machine with an oily
cloth. Undo the screws on the handle and fold the handle up.
Store in a dry, frost-free location.
