Dust filter
• Open the dust bin cover by using the lever to
push it up.
• Take out the dust filter and the foam dust filter
(B). If necessary, rinse the foam dust filter out
thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water. AT-
TENTION: Do not in any case clean the filter
in the washing machine or dishwasher! Then
shake off any remaining water and let the filter
air dry completely before reinstalling it.
• The dust filter (A) may only be tapped out over a garbage bin and not rinsed off
with water.
• Place the foam dust filter (B) back on the dust filter (A).
Plastic dust filter
• Rinse the plastic dust filter and the dust bin cover out thoroughly with clean,
lukewarm water. ATTENTION: Do not in any circumstances clean the filter in
the dishwasher! Then shake off any remaining water and let the filter air dry
completely before reinstalling it.
• Place the dust filter back in the dust bin cover and close it. The lever must audi-
bly lock into place.
• Place the dust filter cover with the dust filter back in the dust bin and turn it until
firmly tightened. The cover is properly in place when the mark on the cover is
pointing towards the closed lock symbol on the dust bin.
• Then insert the dust bin back in the device. Make sure that the dust bin locks
into place properly.
Cleaning the exhaust filter
• The HEPA-exhaust filter is located in the com-
partment on the inside of the vacuum cleaner, un-
der the dust filter (see chapter “Product contents
and device overview”).
• Press the catch toward the compartment cover
and remove the cover.
• Remove the exhaust filter from the compartment
and its holder.
