NOTE : Many of the following tests will require that the side panels are removed from the appliance or some
interior parts removed to access the components. Before troubleshooting, always wait until the appliance is completely
cool and confirm that all components are clean and free of ash build up.

Refill the hopper.

If the hopper was just refilled, the appliance requires time to
prime the auger shoot before restarting. If problem persists,
see next step.

Ensure all cleaning and maintenance has been carried out,
see “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.

Place the burnpot so that the locating notch engages with
the ignitor and the burnpot is sitting flat.
-
Do not operate the appliance if the ignitor is defective.
-
Make sure the holes in the burn pot are completely free.
-
Check cleanliness of the exhaust pipe and the combustion
chamber.
-
Make sure the door is closed and that the gasket is in good
shape. If any ash door has a latch, make sure the ash door
is properly latched and the gasket is sealing well.
-
Clean any dust from the winding and fan blades. If cleaning
the blower does not help, the blower may be defective.
-

Remove and inspect fuse, see “FUSE” section. If the fuse
appears to be defective, replace it with a 0.5 amp. 125 volt
fuse. Plug the appliance back in and try to run the unit.

Inspect all wires and connectors to the auger motor, high
limit switch and the Molex connector.
-

COOLING
STANDBY
-
A new ignition is attempted
when the appliance has just
been switched off.

Attempt to release the
alarm with appliance still in
COOLING
mode.

When the appliance switches off, it is necessary to wait for
the exhaust motor to shut down completely before cleaning
the burn pot.
-
The appliance can only be reignited when these operations
have been performed.
