V-Chip Page
The V-chip provides a means of blocking movies and television programs from being viewed,
based on their ratings and content category. This feature enables parents to control what is
viewable by children in their household.
Accessing the V-chip configuration page requires a 4-digit PIN (personal identification
number). The default PIN is
0000
.
To configure the V-chip:
1.
Select
V-Chip
from the left sidebar menu on the Control page.

Enter the V-chip PIN number In the
V-Chip PIN
field. If no PIN has been assigned, enter
the default
0000
.
3.
Click
Submit
. The V-chip screen editing screen appears.
