Mounting Hardware
Test the outdoor camera for functionality before it is deployed to the remote monitoring location.
Step 1.
Locate and install the Antenna.
Step 2
. Power the camera “ON” by depressing the toggle switch located within the
Camera’s mounting plate.
Step 4.
Allow the camera to communicate with the local cellular tower and transmit a
“confirmation picture” back to the User Interface for 30-45 minutes.
Step 3.
Log into the
“User Interface”
by entering the Username & Password that was
emailed with the tracking number of the camera shipment.
(see section: User Interface for software instructions)
Step 3.
Request a “Live” image from the User Interface Camera Interface. The average
return time of a “live” image is 30 seconds.
(see section: User Interface for software instructions)
NOTE:
Sending a “Live” image request to the camera, will sync the Camera to the
local cell tower and the Eye Trax Servers. This step MUST be done every time the
camera is relocated to new deploy locations.
Step 5.
Once pictures have been received to the User Interface and the proper settings
have been set be sure to power the camera “OFF” until ready to use again.
NOTE:
Allowing the battery to drop to low voltage levels and then back up ultimately
lowers the life of the battery cells.
