Network-DDNS
The DDNS (Dynamic DNS) service can provide the camera with its own URL (web address),
which can then be used to access it over the Internet. Use the DDNS service to assign a
host name for easy access to your network camera.
NOTES
• If the camera has not previously been registered at the Dynamic DNS Service, you need
the registration process first.
• If the camera is already registered at the Dynamic DNS Service and its IP address changes,
the DNS service must be updated with this new IP address.
• These regular updates will always occur at the set interval, with no regard to whether
automatic updates have been configured or not.
Internet DDNS (Dynamic Domain Naming Service):
Provides user
with host name to access the camera.
Enable DDNS:
Click the Enable DDNS checkbox to active DDNS service.
DDNS server:
Enter the DDNS server name. The default DDNS server is security-
device.name
Registered host:
Enter the registered host name.
User name:
Enter the registered user name to be used for accessing the DDNS server.
Password:
Enter user password to be used for accessing the DDNS server.
Confirm password:
Enter user password again to confirm.
Interval:
Set the interval at which to regularly update the Dynamic DNS service.
The default setting is 1 hour.
