Engaging
the
Electromagne c
Locks
You
must
do
this
to
use
the
chair
in
the
powered
mode.
It
also
prevents
the
chair
from
rolling
manually.
Depending
on
your
model
(DX8,
DX10,
DX12),
you
will
fl
ip
the
levers
FORWARD
(towards
the
chair)
or
BACKWARD
(away
from
the
chair)
to
en
‐
gage
or
disengage
the
locks.
When
disen
‐
gaged
&
the
power
is
OFF,
the
wheels
will
roll
freely.
When
engaged,
they
won’t
roll.
Moun ng
the
Joys ck
Insert
the
joys ck
moun ng
fork
end
into
the
desired
arm
rest,
and
then
secure
it
with
the
fastening
bolt
underneath
the
arm
rest.
To
move
the
joys ck
to
the
le
side,
you
will
need
to
clip
the
zip
‐
es
it
is
fastened
with
to
the
arm
rest,
and
move
the
wire
along
with
the
fastening
bolt
to
the
le
side
and
secure
it
there.
Install
the
An
‐
Tilt
Wheels
The
an
‐
lt
wheels
are
located
in
the
toolkit
in
the
back
of
the
chair.
Remove
them
from
the
toolkit,
and
insert
them
into
the
frame
at
the
back
of
the
chair,
near
the
rear
wheels,
as
shown.
Push
the
bu ons
on
each
pair
of
wheels
to
be
able
to
insert
them.
They
can
be
removed
at
any
me
by
pushing
the
bu ons
and
slid
‐
ing
them
out
of
the
frame.
The
an
‐
lt
wheels
can
be
used
to
roll
the
chair.
