To communicate with analog blocks, a common control interface for all analog blocks is implemented. In
addition, there are some dedicated interfaces for data transfer. The common control interface translates APB
bus write and read cycle for specific addresses related to analog front-end control. Dedicated data interface
of each analog block is implemented in the corresponding digital block. The analog blocks includes the
following analog function for complete GSM/GPRS base-band signal processing :
II. MT6305BN ( GSM Power Management System)
The MT6305BN is a power management system chip optimized for GSM handsets, especially those
based on the MTK system solution. It contains seven LDOs, one to power each of the critical GSM
sub-blocks. Sophisticated controls are available for power-up during battery charging, keypad
interface, and RTC alarm. The interface Features are listed below.
