To assemble the machine:
WARNING:
All the necessary adjustments for the good work
-
ing of your machine have been done at the factory.
Do not modify them. However, because of a normal
wear and tear of your tool, some re-adjustments
might be necessary.
WARNING:
Always unplug your machine from power source be
-
fore any adjustment.
Column and machine foot (Fig. 3):
Set the machine foot (1) down on the ground
or the workbench. Place the column (2) on the
base plate so that the holes on the column (2)
align with the holes on the base plate (1). Screw
the four hexagonal screws to fasten the column
into the base plate and tighten them using a
hexagon spanner.
Installing the drilling table holder (Fig. 4-7):
1.
In order to install your drill, you must first re
-
move the rack (C). Use an Allen key to remove
the ring (D) and pull this off the column (2). Now
pull the rack (C) out.
2.
Insert the rack (C) into the groove on the drilling
table holder (4).
3. Align the rack (C) centrally in relation to the drill-
ing table holder (4).
4. When bringing the rack (C) together within the
groove, ensure that the tooth meshing between
the rack and the drilling table holder (4) is cor-
rect.
5. Now place the drilling table holder (4) with the
rack (C) on the column (2) and guide the rack (C)
into the bottom rack guide on the column foot.
6.
Use the ring (D) to secure the rack (C). Ensure
that the rack guide on the ring (D) is pointing
downwards. Tighten the integrated Allen screw
to affix the ring (D).
7. Place the hand crank (14) on the shaft of the
drilling table holder (4) and secure it with the Al-
len screw. To do this, use the Allen key (B).
8.
Screw one of the clamping handles (3) into the
drilling table holder (4).
Installing the machine head and column (Fig. 8):
Place the machine head (12) on the column (2).
Align the drill’s spindle with the table and the
base plate and tighten the Allen screw that is lo-
cated on the side of the machine head. To do this,
use the Allen key (A).
Installing the handles (Fig. 9):
Screw three handles (9) tight in the handle rack.
Use the hexagon spanner to do this.
Installing the folding protector and the drill chuck
(Fig. 11):
Push the folding protector (10) onto the spindle
on the machine head and use a “Phillips” head
screwdriver to secure it.
Installing the chuck (Fig. 12):
Clean the conical hole in the chuck (11) and the
spindle cone with a clean piece of fabric. Make
sure there are no foreign particles on it, as the
slightest piece of dirt will prevent the chuck from
being properly positioned, causing the drill bit to
