Centrally Managed Administration
By default, the heuristic scan is enabled for
inbound mails and disabled for outbound and
internal mails.
The heuristic scan may affect the product
performance and increase the risk of false
malware alarms.
Sandbox Scanning
Enable or disable the sandbox scan. The
sandbox scan emulates and analyzes the code
in a safe and isolated environment known as the
Sandbox.
By default, the sandbox scan is enabled for
inbound mails and disabled for outbound and
internal mails.
The sandbox scan may affect the product
performance. Disable the sandbox scan if you
need the scan to be faster.
Attempt to Disinfect
Infected Attachments
Specify whether the product should try to
disinfect an infected attachment before
processing it. If the disinfection succeeds, the
product does not process the attachment further.
Disinfection may affect the product performance.
Infected files inside archives are not disinfected
even when the setting is enabled.
Action on Infected
Messages
Specify whether to drop the infected attachment
or the whole message when an infected
message is found.
Drop Attachment
- Remove the infected
attachment from the message and deliver the
message to the recipient without the attachment.
