3.4 Mounting

Avoid installing close to heat sources. Sufficient aerial circulation is
necessary.

When installing the cables and connecting plugs leave enough space
for each.
−
Sharp bending and routing of wires close to control cables should be
avoided.
−
The cables must be long enough so that plugs are accessible for
repair.
−
The cable harness that leads to the device connector must be placed
so that condensation water can not leak into the plug.

3.5 Device Connectors
The BFI57 includes the following interfaces:

GPS Antenna

2 x pressure (pitot and static)
•
Power / RS-232 (NMEA output and maintenance)
3.5.1 GPS Antenna
An SMA type socket provides the connection to the active (5V) GPS
antenna that is supplied with the BFI57.
