Powering Down the ARX-2000
You can power down the ARX-2000 with the CLI command
shutdown
.
This cuts power from all systems except the Non-Volatile RAM (NVRAM).
The NVRAM contains namespace metadata information that managed
volumes are currently using. Once the NVRAM loses power from an
external source, it uses a battery backup for up to 72 hours.

This prepares the ARX pair for a planned power outage.
For power outages of greater than 72 hours, contact F5 Support.

LED Definitions
LED State
Definition
Blinking
LED turns on and off at a steady rate.
Flashing
LED is off most of the time. Occasionally, the LED illuminates.
Flickering
LED turns on and off at an erratic (not constant) rate.
