On the rear panel of the switch, plug the power cord into the power
connector shown in the following figure.

Powering On the Switch
WARNING
Before applying power, ensure that the AC outlet to the switch is properly
grounded.
To power on the switch, press the power button on the front control panel of
the switch. This illuminates the power LED above the button.

Ethernet cables are supplied by the customer. For cable specifications and
requirements, see
Power Cord and Cable Requirements, on page 4-5

The ARX-500 has four rear-panel ports for cabling, shown below:
serial console port
OOB management port
client/server, port 1/1
redundancy link, port 1/2
