Safety regulations

Faaborg Rehab specifically disclaims responsibility for anybody injuries or property damage,
which may occur during any use, when the recommendations and warnings described in this
user manual are not followed. The Click & Go Professional II is, if the push propulsion is used
correctly, very safe and stable products. However, it is possible if you use push propulsion not
correctly, dangerous situations may occur.

3.1

General safety regulations

Protect your push propulsion by checking it regularly. When a part of your Click & Go
Professional II doesn’t function correctly, a dangerous situation could occur. Therefore, you
must keep your push propulsion in perfect condition, to ensure safety in use. Periodical
inspection, a correct adjustment and in time replacement of broken or worn parts will result
in use for years without any problems. A qualified dealer, who will only use the correct
replacement parts, will take care of your push propulsion and make sure you can use your
push propulsion for years without problems.

3.2

Warnings for safe use

To prevent any damage to your property, the push propulsion or the user of the push
propulsion, you must observe the following warnings. Faaborg Rehab is not responsible for
any damage, provided that the warnings be respected. After reading the warnings, you agree
with the regulations, mentioned in this user manual.

Check at the delivery of the push propulsion always if all components of the push
propulsion are present and whether any have been damaged. If components are missing
or are damaged, contact your dealer immediately;

Do not use your push propulsion as a single component, but only in combination with a
wheelchair;

Do not use your push propulsion in sand, rough areas, wet and smooth surfaces or
surfaces with little grip;

Do not lean on the back of the push propulsion. This can result in rolling over the push
propulsion;

Do not try to ascend ramps without installing the anti-tippers, never ascend a hill without
anti   tippers;

Never go slanting on or off a slope;

Do not use the push propulsion when it rains, when it snows or when there is snow. In
addition to the fact that the push propulsion has little grip, moisture can result in damage
to the push propulsion;

While guiding a person in a wheelchair and you use the push propulsion, always hold the
push propulsion at the handle(s);
