6. START-UP
Program electronic control unit 596 MPS according to your
requirements as shown in table 4.
6.1.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION
1)
Switch off the power.
2)
Move the door manually to the halfway position.
3)
Lock the operator.
4)
Switch on the power.
5)
Send an OPEN pulse to the input (fig. 20) and check
that this makes the door open.
If the gate closes, invert the motor wires on the control unit
(brown and black wires).
6.2.
OPERATING TIME SELECTION
Select an operating time a few seconds longer than the
one previously timed on the electronic control unit 596 MPS
in order to obtain maximum efficiency of the hydraulic
lock.
6.3.
SELECTING PAUSE TIME
By selecting logic A it is possible to regulate the garage
door pause time by way of the relevant dip-switch.
6.4.
SELECTING FAIL-SAFE
The 596 MPS card also has a FAIL-SAFE safety device which
serves to verify that the N.C. contact on the photocell
receiver is working correctly before each operation; this
device can be disabled.
