14.6 FUNCTION ENERGY SAVING
The function Energy Saving lets you decrease opening/closing times
and restrict “false openings” by recognising the pedestrian’s direction
(approaching, leaving, passing sideways).
It entails an opening movement from external or internal radar and
when the radars are no longer engaged and the presence sensors do
not detect any presence, it immediately inverts.
Obligatory requirements
Energy Saving requires:
use of the one-direction radar detectors inside and outside
The operating mode must be AUTOMATIC.
!
To ensure maximum safety adhere to the detector’s operating
instructions.
HOW TO ACTIVATE THEENERGY SAVING
In basic programming:
-
set
ES
ES

.
The parameter may be selected from board or SDK EVO.
14.7 FUNCTION LOW ENERGY IN CLOSING -
CS
CS
CF
CF
Low Energy mode is implemented by restricting the kinetic energy
of the leaf and forces.
The standard EN 16005:2012 in force in European Community coun-
tries sets the Low Energy mode operation option as an alternative to
using monitored devices.
!
WARNING: the Low Energy operation mode is not allowed if most
users are elderly, sick, disabled or children.
For this type of user door contact with the user is NOT allowed. Use
monitored detectors, or special mechanical protections.
HOW TO SET LOW ENERGY ON CLOSURE
In basic programming:
-
set
CS
CS
complying with MAX closing speed values set in

depending on leaf weight.
-
set
CF
CF
complying with the value

-
set from SDK EVO acceleration in closing = 1 (“Closing - Accelera-

-
set from SDK EVO the number of obstacles in closing = 0 (
“Consecu-
tive obstacles”

).
For details refer to standard EN 16005:2012.
It is possible to use SDK EVO.
