Pellets should be stored in a dry place and
kept in a bag or in bulk.
If you use bagged pellets, consume them
within a short period of time after opening
the bag. Otherwise, there is a risk of
moisture build-up.
Avoid using damp pellets as, due to the
absorption of water, they increase in
volume and the pellets soften, causing
malfunction of the feeding system and
affecting combustion.
Avoid outdoor storage.
Avoid using pellets of lower quality than
recommended
or
those
containing
dispersed sawdust, resins or chemical
substances, additives or solvents.
Avoid throwing the sawdust and dust that
accumulates at the bottom of the bag into
the pellet tank of the stove.
Avoid using pellets of a different size or
calorific value than those recommended;
Bewares and Actions to Avoid!
You should only fill the tank with one type of
fuel. Avoid using pellets with different
characteristics. This may lead to an
increase
and/or
decrease
in
the
performance of the appliance, which may
damage it and consequently lead to loss of
warranty and liability for the fab brand.
After a long period of inactivity, remove the
rest of the pellets from the pellet tank,
carrying out the operations described in
LoAd function (page 29). These may have
absorbed moisture, altering their original
characteristics and making them unsuitable
for use.
When filling the pellet tank, prevent the
pellet bag from coming into contact with
hot surfaces.
Never put your hand or any other object
besides the pellets inside the tank.
If during normal
operation of the
appliance, the pellet level falls below the
pre-set limit, the message rFil appears on
the touchscreen. The user has 60 seconds
to refill the pellet tank - page 59. If the tank
is not refilled after 60 seconds, for safety,
the system blocks the stove and goes into
shutdown mode (OFF)- page 54. Then,
appears the ER18 (page 58)
