Replacing the Fuse
The upper hood panel opening and closing is controlled by a gear motor supplied by a circuit with a fuse. If this fuse
blows and the panel is closed, then the panel must be manually pulled out for fuse replacement. Follow these steps
below to manually open the panel for fuse replacement as shown in (
FIGURE 12
):
- Remove the cover on the top left side of the hood
- Press the panel release lever with a screwdriver to enable the release of the panel, pull the panel out at the same
time
- After opening the panel, remove the grease filters and replace the fuse located on the right side of the hood with
the same type of fuse. Put the fuse holder and grease filters back into place, and operate the hood to ensure proper
replacement.
If the panel is open and the fuse blows, simply remove the grease filters and replace the fuse.
