DT.3026 Crankshaft TDC Location Pin
DT.3026 Location Pin is used on ALL Ford 1.6/1.8 diesels and is designed to screw into the cylinder block.
The crankshaft is carefully turned until the web rests against the Pin.
WARNING:
Ford Crankshaft Pins are NOT intended for use in ‘locking’ the crank when releasing/tightening
the pulley bolt.
DT.4407 Flywheel Locking Tool
The 1.8 DIRECT INJECTION engine found in Fiesta and Focus additionally requires DT.4407
Flywheel Locking Tool to ensure the crank does not move once DT.3026 Location Pin has established TDC.
DT.4115A-1 Camshaft Setting Plate
For early 1.6 diesels and 1.9TDi engines fitted in Ford Galaxy up to 2000.
If required, feeler gauges of equal thickness can be inserted on either side of this Setting Plate until all
free play has been eliminated.
DT.4440V2 Camshaft Locking Pin
Early (pre 1996) 1.8 diesels used DT.4440V2 Locking Pin to set and lock the camshaft. Locking Pins
are also used for the Injection Pump sprocket – Refer to Application Chart

Fuel Injection Pump Locking Pins
DT. 3054F2, DT.3054F3, DT.3054F4, DT3054F5, DT.3054V3 and DT.4440V2
Locking Pins are designed to pass through datum holes in the injection pump sprocket to hold the pump
in its ‘timed’ position.
Bosch Injection Pumps require DT.3054F4 Pin and CAV Pumps use DT.3054F2. The 1.9TDi in Galaxy use DT.3054V3 Pin
