This appliance works on the principal 

of measuring the body’s electronic 
impedance, which is referred to using the 
term bioelectric, i.e. “bioelectric impedance 
analysis” (BIA), a factor relating to the 
percentage of body fat and body water, 
while taking other physical factors into 
consideration (age, sex and weight). This 
weighing scale can also measure bone 
mass, muscle mass and the number of 
kilocalories required during the day.
