washing up liquid, rinse and dry. To ensure
correct cooker tightness, the silicone seal
should be changed every 12-18 months de-
pending on frequency of use. We recom-
mend replacing the safety valve silicone seal
with the same frequency.
6. Don’t store cooker with the lid on
. Only
place lid upside down on the pressure cooker.
Thus, eliminating the risk of creating a vacuum
inside when not in use, which would hinder sub-
sequent cooker opening. This also prevents
bad smells forming inside.
7. Prior to opening the Fagor pressure
cooker
, always check the handles (cooker,
side and lid handles) are correctly screwed
into place. Otherwise, use a screwdriver to
tighten the screws.
8. Spare parts:
Use only original spares. Use of
unauthorised parts or adherences may cause
malfunction of the unit and cancel any guaran-
tee protection provided by the manufacturer.
Operating valve cleaning

check there are no food remains inside it.
To do this, move valve to position shown in

light, look through the hole below the valve
to make sure no food particle is obstructing
it. If necessary clean the hole with a small
brush. If having checked the valve, you note
the cooker doesn’t function properly, don’t
use under any circumstance but take it to
