USING THE FREEZER
DEFROSTING FOOD
The same method should not be
used for defrosting all types of food.
If you purchase frozen food from
stores, follow the instructions on the
packaging.
Green vegetables should be cooked
without defrosting.
Pre-cooked and ready prepared
food can generally be cooked
without defrosting.
Meat and fish should be slowly
defrosted in the refrigerator over
several hours. If you have a
microwave oven, defrosting can to a
large extent be accelerated.
Fill the trays inside the freezer three
quarters full of water.
Place the trays in the freezer,
preferably in the top section.
Once frozen, the ice cubes can
be removed by gently twisting the
trays.
