The detergent d ispe nser mu st be refilled before the start of each wash cycle. Please follow the manual instr uctions
provided in the" Wash C ycle Table" on page 4 .
As a rule of thumb, you gene rally only need o ne tablespoon of dishwashing detergent for a normal h ousehold wash
load. For more heavily soiled items p lease refer to the instructions on your detergent packaging . Please make sure
to a dd the detergent just before start ing t he dishwasher.
Plea se follow the instructions on the back of the detergent packagi ng for th e pro per amount of d etergent to use for the
type of load you have . Th e amount of detergen t can vary d epen din g on the hardness of your water. To determine your
wate r consistenc y, please contact your local water com pany. Generally, the har der the w ater, the more detergen t you
will need to use.
A measured amount of rinse aid is release d during the final rinse to assist in rinsing dishes
prop erly, keeping them residue and streak free. As with detergent, the amount o f rinse aid
needed for your dishes depends on th e hardness of the water in your area. If you have very
soft househo ld water, you ma y ne ed to dilute or omit the rinse aid.
The rinse aid dispenser is designed with four settings. Please begin your wash cycles with
the dispense r set on setting 2 . If spots and streaks are evident, increase the amount of
rinse aid dispensed in the machin e by removing th e dispenser lid and rotating the dial to setting
3. If the dishes still are not drying properly or are spotted, increase the dial to setting 4.
