Some other functions are:
SPACE BAR
inserts a space in the text.
RUBOUT
deletes the last cha racter
(including carriage returns).
RET
returns to the start of the next line.
CLEAR
erases the whole title so you may
start a new title.
CLEAR
must be selected
twice:
first time illumina tes the
CLEAR
box,
second time actually clears the title. This is
to prevent accidental erasu re.
The bottom row of boxes affect cha racters in the following way:

Cha racters may be mixed in a n y combination of size a n d format.
Points to note with
C h a r a c t e r s i ze
a re:
i) a big size cha racter w i l l not a ppear in the titling if there
is not enough space left for i t , even though a smaller
character will fit.
ii) a big size character ca n be partially overwritten by the
next line of text. This ma y be desirable. However, to
preven t this, insert enough RETs (carriage retu rns) so that
the next line of text is lower than the previous line.

puts a black shadow behind the character

puts a block behind the character in the
complement of the colour of the title (for exa mple, a green
