This program sends a command string to the CVI and receives
the data which the CVI sends in response. This received data is
stored in an ASCII file in the computer, al though it could be
printed on the screen or processed in some other fashion. No
handshaking is used except to ensure that the RTS line is high. If
your computer is not able to keep up with the transmission rate of
the CVI (Le. data gets lost) try a slower baud rate or use the
program given in Example 4 to implement handshaking.
