CAUTION
: Extreme caution must be used when moving the appliance con-
taining hot contents or liquids. Failure to follow these instructions can result in
burns.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knob.
•
To protect against electrical shock and personal injury do not immerse
cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquids.
•
Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect after charging, remove the plug from the wall outlet first.
Always unplug by pulling the power plug directly. Never pull the cord.
•
Unplug from outlet when not charging and before cleaning. Allow the ap-
pliance to cool down before handling any parts and before cleaning the
appliance.
•
If there are damages at the appliance itself or the user thinks so, return the
appliance to the point of sale for examination, repair or adjustment. Repair
and maintenance must only be performed by authorized personnel.
•
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter and do not let
it get in contact with hot surfaces.
•
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided
to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord.
•
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable
power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1.
The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
2.
The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter-
top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
•
Avoid sudden temperature changes when using the appliance. Do not place
the appliance in or near ovens, refrigerators or freezers. Do not place the
appliance in or near microwaves or dishwashers (at least 25 centimeters
distance).
•
Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near children.
•
Household use only.
•
Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
