Mounting the telescopic swing arms
CAUTION! The lift needs to be in the lowest position, otherwise the arms are locked. When
mounting the arms, take into account that the 2-part telescopic arm is to lift the front end of the
vehicle.
1.
Remove the pin (1, fig.18) out of the arm.
2.
Grease the pin and toothing of the arm (2, fig.18) with EP40
multigrease, also grease the toothing of the lifting body (44,
partslist) its locking system.
3.
Place the arm in the recess in the lifting body and allign the
holes.
4.
Put the pin through.
5.
Now place the rubber pad, remove the circlip with circlip
pliers, place the rubber pad. Place back the circlip when the
lift is in raised position, DO NOT FORGET.
6.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the other arms.
Mounting the flexible column covers
1.
Loosen the nuts and washers on the upper end of the flexible cover.
2.
Put the two threaded ends through the holes in the top of the column and screw the washers
and nuts back on to secure the flexible cover.
3.
Now slide the flexible cover through the recess in the lifting body (fig.19a).
4.
Mount the bottom end of the flexible cover to the bottom of the column using the springs
(fig.19b).
Mounting the remaining parts
1.
Mount the rubber protective pads for the doors to the lifting body with the M6 allenbolts.
2.
Place the covers on both columns.
3.
Mount the covers for the safety locks to the columns using the M6x16mm crosshead bolts.
