Safety rules
General safety rules
1.
Only use the lift within the specifications, as described in this manual.
2.
This manual is an integral part of the machine: If and when the lift is being resold, the manual
shall be given to the new owner.
3.
Only trained personnel is allowed to use the lift.
4.
Wear personal safety gear such as safety shoes, safety goggles and gloves.
5.
The work area needs to be clean, free of oil and grease in order to prevent tripping and
slipping.
6.
Mount the machine to the floor by using the holes in the post bottoms of the lift and follow
the instructions in the user manual
. CAUTION! When the lift is not mounted properly to the
floor, it may cause instability, this could possibly cause damage to material/properties and
serious injuries.
7.
Check the lift, the wiring and all hoses for damage, signs of wear and tear rand signs of
deformation. In case something is broken, decommission the lift immediately and fix the
problem before the lift is to be used again.
8.
Only authorized persons are allowed to connect the electrical wiring.
9.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized adaptations
WARNING! This bridge is designed and built for lifting vehicles with a maximum weight of 3500kg
in a closed room. Any other use of the lift is strictly forbidden.
Never use the lift if the safety devices are not functioning like they should. Ignoring this
instruction may cause serious damage to equipment/materials and persons.
10.
For the safety of as well the operator as other people, a safety zone of at least 1m is tob e
kept free around the lift and vehicle when the lift is lifting or lowering. The lift is only to be
operated from the operator’s spot, this is because of safety reasons.
11.
The operator may only walk under the lifted vehicle, when the lift is raised and locked.
12.
The operator as well as the maintenance mechanic must obey the rules regarding accident-
prevention in the country where the lift is installed.
13.
They should also take notice to the following;

Both removing and disconnecting hydraulic, electrical and safety devices is forbidden.

Follow the safety rules which are described in the manual and on the lift at all times.

Pay attention to the area around the lift during lifting, this is a safety measure.

Make sure the engine of the car is not running and that the car is in first gear and the
emergency brake is engaged.

Make sure not to lift vehicles whose weight exceeds the maximum capacity of the lift.
-
Make sure nobody is standing on the lift during the lifting or lowering process.

your own safety and the safety of others. The stickers are decribed on page 70.
