3.2.11 DISP Parameter
Parameter
DISP
enables you to personalize the device to suit the end users needs. The
display is designed for one-handed navigation using the five-way key and two other
keys rather than a touch screen display.
3.2.11.1 DISP.VIEW<index>
Parameter syntax
DISP.VIEW<
This parameter allows you to determine the background view used for home
screen and the views displayed when navigating with 5-way key.
<index>
Defines when a specific view should be displayed on the screen. It can be set as
follow:

Meaning
0
The background view used for the home screen.
1 ... 4
The view to be displayed when navigating with the 5-way
key. (
1 = up, 3 = right, 2 = down and 4 = left
)
<show_view>
Specifies the background view to be displayed. Following views are currently
available.

VIEW_GSM
Displays the GSM view (
graphically shows the current
operator name and the field strength etc.)
VIEW_GPS
Displays the GPS view (graphically shows the current Location,
Speed and Direction)
VIEW_SKY
Displays the SKY view (graphically shows the number and
position of the satellites on the horizon in the form of a polar
plot)
VIEW_SAT
Displays the SAT view (
graphically and textually shows the
satellite number, status, azimuth, elevation, C/No, and last five
seconds of measured signal strength).
VIEW_MENU
Displays the first Menu view (
shows
the main menu
created with DISP.MENU<id>
).
VIEW_PBOOK
Displays the PBook view (shows all phonebook entries created
with
DISP.PHONE<index>
).
VIEW_INFO
Displays the info view
