4.3.3 How to connect an I/O-BOX device to the MAMBOII
Connecting a I/O-BOX device in two-step process (use
Figure 12
as a reference):
1. Perform the steps
1.. 7
2. To enable MAMBOII to communicate with I/O-BOX, the MAMBOII must know the
address of the I/O-BOX device. Therefore, you need only to load the following
configuration into the MAMBOII device.
a)
Specify the network identifier (if not yet specified).
Set configuration
$PFAL,Cnf.Set,IEEE.PANID=CAF0
b)
Connect I/O-BOX to the MAMBOII. The last entry in the following command
specifies
the MAC address of the
I/O-BOX
, which is unique to each
I/O-BOX (see
figure 5)
. This address is available on the sticker on the back of the
I/O-BOX
.
Enter
all 16- digits of this address.
Set configuration
$PFAL,CNF.Set,IEEE.IOBOX0=0,2,0,2,F,0017920030000DA8
c)
Copy the configuration above, past them on the
Editor
➒
and then click on
Start
sending configuration
➓
or double
click each command/configuration on the
Editor
➒
to sent them separately.
d)
Power up the I/O-BOX device.
I/O-BOX
will be powered automatically when you
supply power to the device.
e) When the I/O-BOX is successfully connected to the MAMBOII-device, the event
“
$GPEVENT:IEEE.IOBox0.State.eConnected
”
will be displayed
on the

How to connect a Bluetooth audio headset
to the MAMBOII
Connecting a Bluetooth audio headset in twelve-step process (use
Figure 12
as a
reference):
1.
Perform the steps
1.. 7
as given in chapter
2.
Copy the configuration command given below, past it on the
Editor
➒
and
s
end it
to MAMBOII either by clicking on
“Start sending configuration”
➓
or double click
with left mouse on this command text.
Set configuration
$PFAL,Cnf.Set,DEVICE.BT.AUDIOGW=0,8888
3. Because the Bluetooth protocol resets when the configuration above is sent to the
MAMBOII device, you need to reconnect the MAMBOII device with the Bluetooth
software.
4.
Later on, set your headset into the pairing mode (for more details,
refer to the User's
manual of the headset and find out how to set the headset into the pairing mode
).
