11.1 Record track
You can record the route that you are riding or walking along. This track recording will help
you to be able to retrace the route you have ridden or walked precisely at a later date. After
the recording, the track can be displayed on the map and the altitude profile can be viewed.
Further information such as the starting and end position, distance and the height gain or
loss can then likewise be displayed.
You have two possible options for starting the track recording:
Via the rapid access menu and
or by clicking the "Record button"
in the track manager.
Note
: It is recommended that you calibrate the barometer manually before you start the track
recording (see Chap. 6.3.6).
The recording can be interrupted at any time if, for example, you take a break. To do this, tap
on the "Pause button"
or in the rapid access menu tap again on .
To continue, tap again on the "Record button"
or in the rapid access menu on .
To end the recording and to save the track, tap on the "Stop button"
or in the rapid
access menu press down on .
You will then be asked to specify the name for the track. In the line for the name, initially the
date and the time of the recording are displayed. The track can be saved under this
designation. Or you can delete the name line and enter your own name for the track.
Note:
It is advisable to enter a recognisable name for tracks so that you can find them more
easily at a later date if several tracks are saved on the device.
